Peru – The law establishes principles for the development and use of artificial intelligence, such as risk-based security standards, plurality of participants approach, internet governance, ethical development and privacy protection of artificial intelligence. Regarding transparency and privacy, the law mentions the principles of internet governance and ethical development for responsible artificial intelligence. It also highlights that artificial intelligence should not violate people's privacy and must act safely to achieve a positive and well-being impact on citizens. Regarding cybersecurity, the law refers to the identification of serious threats or violations of national cybersecurity, which must be immediately reported to the Intelligence Commission of the Congress of the Republic (Law 31814) – 2023
